Help needed, how can i ?
by billie jean ini've not been on for a while as i havent felt the 'need' but ive just logged in and read some very interesting posts as usual.
well i'm off to stay with my very witness parents very soon (for a few days, which is long enough) i do love them but its very hard being around them a lot of the time.
im fully aware that we have to come to our own decisions on the matter of realisation but i was wondering if anyone has any tips as to where i could start in craftily helping them, giving them something to perhaps think about ??

A bit of a mixed up question ??
by billie jean innot to take away from someone elses newest thread about disfellowshipping but just why is it so varied who they df and who they dont ?.
i myself had been baptised then suffered a mental breakdown which they didnt know how to handle so they just didnt, i wanted to fade anyway so dont blame them now im just glad they didnt harass me too much to go back, they visited about twice but id since heard they hadnt a clue what to say to me.
anyway i wasnt disfellowshipped and i never sent a note of disassociation in.

Will the tower play there power trip on me?
by jacethespace insince i have left the watchtower i have met a really great girl [ or as the tower might put it-worldly].
the thing is i think i might be in a bit of a predicament because when i left the tower i decided on the option that i would just walk away and not send a letter of dissociation.and the local elder and his wife lives right next door to me.because of this i have still saw them and other of my tower associates and been able to speak to them and they have spoke to me.. but now i have a feeling that once i start to bring my girlfriend back to my place that my neighbour/elder will take more of an intrest in whats going on and it might lead them to dissfellowshipping me.although as far as im concerned my life is none of there buisness anymore.but im just wondering how long it will take for them to visit me and announce that they are going to df me.. anyone had any similar experiences or anything?.

Anyone have any 'Too close for comfort' moments with an elder ? (ladies)
by billie jean inhas anyone ever felt that an elder was perhaps 'coming on' to them ?
i remember three specific occasions where i was alone with these three elders in my congregation on seperate occasions and it just didnt feel right.
one where i was told i was "very attractive" and various other things he'd said made me nervous about my appearance, another where an elder took me to his car after a meeting in a dark car park and seemed to ask too many private questions and another time one of the elders who i thought always had his arms around young sisters too much took me to the 'back room' and sat far too close to me again references about my "attractive face" and other strange compliments.
